Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011)

Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt. I haven’t been a fan of the Mission Impossible franchise. Although I have seen most of them. My favorite Cruise movies are The Last Samurai and Collateral. Well I barely remember but Mission Impossible 3 was entertaining and this movie picks up the story. Rather than rely on special effects. The movie has a cast and a story. The mission didn’t seem all that impossible. It’s the getting away seems to have being forgotten. But no worries this only adds to the action.

New team members in this adventure. Paula Patton as Jane Carter she plays one tough lady. I enjoyed watching her kicking butt. Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn as the hacker/comic relief. Well he was slightly funny but good character. Jeremy Renner as William Brandt. Each has his demons to deal with. Except for Benji he seems to enjoy being in the field. Michael Nyqvist plays a good bad guy Kurt Hendricks. Lea Seydoux as Sabine Moreau a hit man/woman. I tell ya I like these roles woman are playing kicking butt and looking sexy.

Well lets see here. The prison break was kind of fun. The walking outside a building of glass pretty fun. I always enjoy seeing an exotic car. It’s every boys dream rolling in with thee ride. Pretty woman check! Fight scenes that are not ridiculous check. It’s hard not to like the movie. Gotta give it’s due nice job Director Brad Bird. Yes highly recommended entertainment for the whole family for PG-13 that is. It seems to me Ethan Hunt has one more installment. Go out guns blazing would be cool. And finally will Ethan at the very least kiss Jane. If someone would have asked me. One kiss for sure in this movie. But then again I live in Rated-R. Relax I said one kiss.
