Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian

Ben Stiller is back as Larry Daley. I like the first movie with the whole museum coming to life. It was pretty funny. Most of the times sequels are just companies trying to cash in. So I don’t expect much I even thought about just skipping the whole movie. To my surprise Amy Adams was a delight as Amelia Earhart. I loved her in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. Lots of energy and so cute. With the stage at the Smithsonian gave way to a lot of new characters. Hank Azaria plays Kahmunrah its so dump its funny. Bill Hader plays General Guster man I think his funny. I like the past mixing with the present. Even the message about doing what you love fits in the scheme. Larry Daley left the museum to start a successful business. He finds the museum is on the change and the artifacts are being moved. The pesky little monkey takes the tablet with him only to bring to life the Smithsonian. Kahmunrah has plans to take over the world. It’s up to Larry and Emelia to save the world. I think its a movie a family will enjoy maybe even get curious about the past. You have to see Abel the monkey and Einstein bobble heads. Singing cupids or cherub not sure but pretty funny. Its all light hearted entertainment.
